I am fundraising for...a better world for Rare.

The Kosi Challenge is an annual event hosted by Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) to raise awareness and critical funds for Australians facing rare, less common, or complex cancers.

For these patients, the journey is often filled with uncertainty, emotional strain, and overwhelming out-of-pocket costs.

This March, I’ll be taking on my own virtual Kosi Challenge by walking 50km around the stunning Illawarra region. While I had hoped to join the event in person at Mount Kosciuszko, the arrival of a new baby in our family around this time means I’ll be participating remotely—but I’m embracing the opportunity to take on some tough and rewarding walks closer to home (and let's be honest, will likely be pushing a pram around the neighborhood for a good part of it too).

Every dollar raised through the Kosi Challenge goes directly to the work I’m honored to be part of with RCA’s Patient Support Team.

Our team is dedicated to helping patients navigate their cancer journey, whether it’s connecting them with specialists, accessing life-saving treatments, running support groups, providing financial assistance during crises, or linking them with essential services. Patient Support is at the heart of what RCA does.

As a registered charity, RCA ensures all donations over $2 are fully tax-deductible.
