Thank you to everyone who supported our Kosi Challenge in 2025.

Together, we raised a total of $678,878 that will go directly into our patient support programs, giving individuals and families the personalised help they need when facing a rare, less common or complex cancer diagnosis.

We had more than 1000 climbers join us across two incredible days in Thredbo and virtually. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

What is the Kosi Challenge?

The Kosi Challenge is Rare Cancers Australia’s major fundraising event, held in March each year since 2013.

People unite from across Australia, including patients and their families, to climb to our country’s highest point, the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, raising much-needed funds and awareness for Australians affected by rare, less common and complex cancers.

Since it began, the Kosi Challenge has raised more than $5 million to help change the story of a rare cancer diagnosis.

No Australian should have to go through their cancer journey alone. That’s why we walk the journey with those impacted.
