I'm stepping up

Inspired by loved ones affected by rare cancers, and motivated by the experiences of my incredible colleagues climbing in previous years, I’m fundraising for Rare Cancers Australia – and I’d be grateful for your support!

On 15 March 2025, my Alexion colleagues, hubby, and I will be lacing up our hiking boots to take on Mount Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest peak at 2,228 meters, as part of the Kosi Challenge. This inspiring event is organized by Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) to raise funds for individuals affected by rare, complex, and less common cancers.

Since 2013, the Kosi Challenge has brought together patients, families, and supporters from all over Australia to climb Mount Kosciuszko, raising awareness and funds to support those facing these often overlooked cancers. These patients often have limited access to the resources and support they need, and that's where RCA steps in, offering advocacy, treatments, and support. But they can’t do it without us.

No contribution is too small – every dollar counts. Your donation will help RCA provide crucial support to those impacted by rare cancers, from connecting patients with specialists and treatments, to providing financial aid during times of crisis and running essential support services. RCA is committed to making a difference, and with your help, they can continue their vital work.

All funds raised through the Kosi Challenge will go directly to RCA’s Patient Support Team, and every donation over AU $2 is fully tax deductible. Together, we can help make a real difference for those who need it most.
