I am fundraising for Rare Cancers Australia

On 15 March 2025, my Alexion colleagues, my family and I will be lacing up our hiking boots to climb Mount Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest peak (2,228m), as part of the Kosi Challenge, a vital fundraising event organised by Rare Cancers Australia (RCA). 

Since 2013, this inspiring event has united people from across the country - patients, families, and supporters alike - to conquer the summit of Mount Kosciuszko. Together, we raise awareness and crucial funds for Australians affected by rare, less common, and complex cancers.

 These cancers often receive less attention and funding, leaving patients and families to face immense challenges alone. Rare Cancers Australia steps in to provide support, advocacy, and access to vital treatments, but they need our help to continue this important work.

Every donation - big or small - will make a difference. With your support, RCA can continue to provide resources, care, and hope to those who need it most - from helping patients to access specialists and treatments, through to delivering support groups, connecting people with services and providing financial assistance particularly in times of crisis - patient support is at the heart of what RCA does.

One hundred percent of funds raised through the Kosi Challenge goes towards the important work of RCA's Patient Support Team. RCA is a Federal Government-classified Health Promotion Charity. All donations over AU $2 are fully tax deductible.
